Prague May 2026
My friend discovered that we would be as close to seeing Laibach as we were ever going to get. Unless they come to Australia. So after a hasty trip reschedule we ended up going home via Prague so we could catch their show.

The Art Nouveau styled, Prague Railway station originally named after Franz Joseph I of Austria and was the start of the south bound Emperor Franz Joseph Railway that ran to Benešov, Tábor and Vienna.

Hotel Theatrino Dining Room Link
I loved the fact it was its own place, and not another international hotel chain with cookie cut rooms. It had a 24 hour desk, you handed your key in before you went out, marble stairs, a bar and places to sit with subdued lighting, the stained glass windows were really something. https://www.hoteltheatrino.cz/

My room at the Hotel Theatrino Link
I liked this room because it was of a different era, it had a window that you could open and lean out of. The bath doubled as a shower and was about 8 inches off the floor, you will want to be careful if you had been drinking before navigating that step.
