Prague June 2026 Day 1
I wasn’t prepared for the magnitude of Prague Castle and the St Vitus Cathedral.
All photographs taken on an iPhone.
Katedrála sv. Víta Link
A gothic cathedral that is the resting place of St Wenceslas and St Adalbert, this photo or the ones taken outside in the square do not do this cathedral and the surrounding buildings any justice at all.

Archiv Pražského hradu & Starý královský palác Link
The Archive of the Prague Castle, came into being in 1920 following the break up of the Austro-Hungarian empire at the conclusion of World War One and disintegration of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. That family must have felt immortal until suddenly they were not. The Old Royal Palace seems remarkably practical, especially the jousting hall.
